The President’s duties shall be:
i. To act as the chief executive officer for the Lipsy Lake C.O.A. and exercise general supervision over the affairs of the Lipsy Lake C.O.A.
ii. To preside at meetings of the Lipsy Lake C.O.A.
iii. To call meetings to order at the appointed time.
iv. To announce the business before the Lipsy Lake C.O.A. in the proper form.
v. To state and put all questions properly before the Lipsy Lake C.O.A.
vi. To preserve order and decorum and decide all questions of order.
vii. To preside at meetings of the Board of Directors.
The Vice President’s duties shall be:
i. To act in the place of the President should the President be unable to carry out his or her duties.
ii. To assist the President in carrying out his or her duties, as may be requested by the President from time to time.
iii. To carry out such other duties as the Board of Directors may require.
6.6 The Secretary’s duties shall be:
i. To keep a record of the proceedings of all meetings.
ii. To issue a notice to Members of all regular and special meetings including the Annual General Meeting in accordance with this by-law.
iii. To keep a record of all Members including a mailing list of Members and to make best efforts to obtain contact information for owners of real property and residents of Lipsy Lake who are not Members.
iv. To distribute minutes of Board meetings to Board Members.
v. To distribute minutes of Annual General Meetings to Members.
vi. To perform such other duties as may be required by the Board of Directors.
The Treasurer’s Duties shall be:
i. To receive all moneys belonging to the Lipsy Lake C.O.A. and shall keep them in a Chartered Bank.
ii. To prepare and present the Board with regular financial reports and prepare and deliver to the Annual General Meeting the annual financial report.
iii. To keep accurate account of all moneys received and disbursed on behalf of the Lipsy Lake C.O.A.
The Lake Steward’s duties shall be:
i. To gather information regarding the shoreline and waters of Lipsy Lake and to share this information with the Board of Directors and Members.
ii. To recommend to the Board of Directors the adoption of such measures as will tend to maintain and improve the beauty of Lipsy Lake and the welfare of the shoreline and waters of Lipsy Lake for the benefit of Members.
iii. To respond to the feedback of Members regarding the welfare of the shoreline and waters of Lipsy Lake.
